About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Policy Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support business objectives.
  • Employee Engagement: Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate labour disputes and grievances in a fair and impartial manner to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Workforce Planning: Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure accurate job descriptions and salary scales.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and manage the hiring process.
  • Employee Data Analysis: Analyze employee data and information to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Employee Relations: Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Workplace Health and Safety: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
