Carpenter Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at Parbh Homes Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Assist in the movement of materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites.
- Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Collaborate with experienced carpenters to set up and dismantle temporary structures and safety equipment.
- Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs: Support skilled carpenters in the construction of residential buildings, including framing, wall construction, and roofing.
- Level Earth to Fine Grade Specifications: Assist in ensuring the site is level and meets the required specifications.
- Assist in Demolishing Buildings: Support the demolition process, including the removal of rubble and debris.
- Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites: Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Site Environment: The successful candidate will work outdoors, at heights, and in dusty conditions.
- Work Setting: The role involves working at various locations, including construction sites.
- Tasks: The Carpenter Assistant will perform a variety of tasks, including those listed above.
- Construction Specialization: Residential construction experience is an asset.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
