About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Carpenter Assistant to join our team at KJK Dhillon Construction Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our carpenters with various tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist carpenters in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with Various Tasks: Perform various tasks as assigned by supervisors, including but not limited to, assisting with construction projects, maintaining equipment, and performing other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing work schedules, priorities, and tasks.
  • Reliability: Show a strong commitment to reliability, ensuring timely attendance and completion of tasks.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate a team player attitude, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in a construction or related field is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
