About the Role

Pinnacle Framing Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team. As a Carpenter Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our carpentry team in various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Transport Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Structures: Help in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in Framing and Building: Support carpenters in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Earthwork and Debris Removal: Assist in leveling earth to fine grade specifications and removing rubble and debris from construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: This role requires working in a physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Overtime and Weight Handling: Be prepared to work overtime as required and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Requirements and Preferences
  • Training and Experience: Willingness to learn and train on the job, with a preference for candidates with prior experience in construction or a related field.
  • Language and Work Schedule: Fluency in English is required, and a 40-hour workweek is standard.
