We offer a competitive salary range of $88,700.23 - $125,700.07 annually, with flexible work options including up to 2 days at home per week. An eligibility list may be established to fill temporary and permanent vacancies within the BC Timber Sales Peace-Liard Business Area.

Job Description

The Woodlands Manager oversees all field forestry operations, ensuring they align with provincial regulations, safety protocols, and best practices. As a key leader, you'll manage a team, monitor project progress, and work closely with management to drive strategic initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least five (5) years of program and related forestry experience and a university degree or diploma in a field related to forestry or resource management.
  • Experience developing, managing and delivering resource management programs.
  • Experience in program administration including allocating resources, leading & coaching diverse teams, supervising staff, strategic business planning, and procurement & financial management.
  • A valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence that does not limit or restrict the ability to conduct the duties of the job.
About this Position

This position can be based out of either Dawson Creek, BC V1G 4X3 CA, Fort St John, BC V1J6M7 CA, or Multiple Locations, BC CA (Primary). A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required, and employees must be located in BC at the time of employment. This position is excluded from union membership.
