The successful candidate will lead our institutional research office, aligning it with our vision and direction. This includes data-informed planning and decision making, systems operations, and strategic research support. They will provide oversight and leadership for Senior Leadership's strategic decision making in planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and management of research initiatives.
This role requires expertise in research methods, including statistical analysis, database manipulation, and data modeling. The ideal candidate will have experience in project planning and management, process improvement, and post-secondary education administration. They must be able to establish professional relations with stakeholders, including senior leadership, managers, faculty, staff, the ministry, and external agencies.
We offer a generous compensation package with health benefits, excellent pension plan, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. The salary range for this position is $48,323 - $64,430 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing critical support to ongoing planning processes by reporting key metrics (KPIs) that measure the College's progress and identify areas of improvement
- Developing a system that supports strategic initiatives, course planning, performance metric modeling, and decision-making across the College
- Directing and managing all Institutional Research (IR) office activities and projects to ensure deadlines are met, accuracy, and quality of data
Requirements include a Master's degree in social sciences, data analytics, educational administration, economics, or public administration, and significant senior-level experience in advanced educational leadership roles. Direct experience in institutional research is required. We prefer expertise in the use of Colleague or similar higher education student information system; Argos, or similar enterprise reporting solutions.
