Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Mary Browns Chicken. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our restaurant, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Analyze sales data and labour costs to determine the most effective ways to manage our resources and maximize profitability.
- Staff Performance: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our staff, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of staff who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and achieving our goals.
- Balance Cash and Complete Reports: Manage our cash handling procedures, including balancing cash and completing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff to evaluate their progress, provide feedback, and set goals for improvement.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage our inventory levels, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and implementing procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Ensure that our restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and safe environment for our staff and customers.
- Participate in Marketing Plans: Participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans to promote our restaurant and attract new customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 40 to 48 hours per week.
