Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Mary Browns Chicken. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and evaluate the performance of our restaurant, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor Revenues and Labour Costs: Analyze sales data and labour costs to determine the most effective ways to manage our resources and maximize profitability.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of staff to ensure we have the right people in the right roles to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Balance Cash and Complete Balance Sheets: Manage our cash and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback and coaching to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Manage our inventory levels, ensuring we have the right products in stock to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Health and Safety Regulations are Followed: Ensure our restaurant is compliant with all health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards.
- Participate in Marketing Plans and Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing plans to promote our restaurant and attract new customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 30 to 48 hours per week.
