**Job Summary**
GardaWorld is seeking a compassionate and skilled Security Guard to join our Hospital team. As a first point of contact for patients, families and staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure the safety and security of patients, families, and staff
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and staff
- Enforce safety procedures and standards to prevent accidents and injuries
- Escort and assist patients, families, and staff as needed
- Intervene during emergencies or crises to maintain a safe environment
- Operate video surveillance equipment to monitor and respond to security incidents
- Work effectively in stressful and emotional settings to provide support and assistance
**Requirements**
- A valid Security Guard Licence
- Previous Security Experience
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
- A clear criminal background
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- NVCI or Verbal Intervention Training an asset
**What We Offer**
- A competitive hourly rate of $18.00
- A full-time schedule with a continental rotation (two weeks days, two weeks nights)
