About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Ahmad Shahbaz Sheikh Medicine Professional Corporation. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Coordinate the flow of information between patients, healthcare providers, and staff members.
    • Interview patients to obtain accurate and detailed case histories.
  • Administrative Support
    • Open and distribute incoming mail, packages, and other materials in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Record Keeping and Data Entry
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and files.
    • Enter and format medical reports, correspondence, and other documents for review.
  • Training and Development
    • Train staff members on new procedures and software applications.
  • Supply Management and Inventory Control
    • Order medical supplies and equipment as needed.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Office Procedures and Customer Service
    • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to ensure efficient operations.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in medical software applications and data entry.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced medical office environment.
