About the Role

Omnitrans is seeking a visionary leader to drive business development initiatives and brand management. As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for devising and implementing comprehensive strategies to drive business growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the market landscape.
  • Formulate business plans using sales arguments and tactics to drive new business.
  • Measure results and modify plans accordingly.
  • Research and analyze market intelligence to identify geographic opportunities and competitor information.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business development initiatives via multiple channels and lead action plans.
  • Schedule and attend conventions, conferences, and tradeshows to identify attendees and provide post-event reports and analysis.
  • Develop and update a detailed competitor database.
  • Obtain, maintain, analyze, and communicate market-based information for intelligent decision making.
  • Manage RFPs and quarterly business review presentations.
  • Assist in the design and execution of service innovations.
  • Plan and participate in annual sales meetings.
  • Assume brand manager functions across all media and develop plans to increase awareness in existing and new markets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or commerce.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic business and market development.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with a creative flair.
  • Comfortable in front of a crowd and/or a prospective client.
  • Innovative thinker with a strong understanding and appreciation for differentiation.
  • Proven storyteller with impeccable writing skills and the ability to create content.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client-oriented and committed to excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify root causes and find win/win solutions.
  • Perfectly Bilingual (English and French; written & spoken).
  • Well-organized with an emphasis on prioritization.
