About the Role

Bureau Veritas Canada is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our Maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with trade supervisors to document and coordinate maintenance activities within the Maintenance department.
  • Operate and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database, creating, allocating, and prioritizing incoming Reactive Maintenance work orders.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, including monthly reporting on workload metrics.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance staff to coordinate multi-trade maintenance work and plan system outages.
  • Review and update the CMMS to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in building and equipment maintenance.
  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on working safely while completing all tasks.
  • Strong people skills to manage sensitive issues tactfully and efficiently.
