PKM Canada Marine Terminal LP (Vancouver Wharves Terminal) is actively seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to enhance our team. This role reports directly to the Superintendent of Maintenance Planning within the Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit (NBU), part of Pembina's Facilities Division.

The Planner/Scheduler will be tasked with the safe, effective, and efficient organization of maintenance, reliability, and regulatory job completions to align with Pembina's Facility Integrity, Maintenance Management (PMM), and Regulatory Compliance protocols and certifications.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) packages to support reliability strategies for Asset Integrity, addressing both short-term and long-term maintenance needs;
  • Reviewing approved SAP notifications to assess safety, production, and other operational requirements prior to planning and scheduling work;
  • Creating work order plans for Contracted Services, ensuring timely identification of necessary Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) to mitigate risks, while considering potential defects during execution and the critical skills and resources required;
  • Utilizing the Identify/Plan/Schedule/Execute/Close/Analyze (IPSECA) model to develop and maintain procedures and job plans that comply with Pembina's Facility Integrity and PMM processes and certifications;
  • Compiling monthly and quarterly maintenance and reliability backlog reports for distribution to relevant stakeholders;
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime, ensuring alignment with maintenance strategies;
  • Ensuring that maintenance, inspection, and repair activities are planned in accordance with regulatory requirements;
  • Monitoring corporate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to highlight areas for improvement;
  • Understanding Spares & Inventory systems and processes to support the maintenance plan;
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mobile and/or fixed plant operations/maintenance environments;

  • Journeyman trades certification (Instrumentation, Electrical, or Millwright) and/or Steam Ticket preferred; Maintenance Planning Certification is advantageous;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PMM) is required; familiarity with other maintenance management systems is beneficial;

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera or Prometheus is considered an asset;
  • Previous SAP PM Master Data experience is advantageous;
  • Experience in mobile maintenance scheduling is beneficial;
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
