Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment availability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize and assign tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including maintenance teams, operations, and management, to ensure seamless coordination and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history.
- Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in a similar airport or industrial setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software, including Maximo and Kronos.
- Class 5 provincial driver's license.
As a Senior Maintenance Planner with the Vancouver Airport Authority, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $86,326 to $112,823 per annum, based on a 40-hour work week. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
