Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Planner to join our team at the Vancouver Airport Authority. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective maintenance of our airport facilities and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal asset utilization and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams, supervisors, and stakeholders to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on maintenance procedures, best practices, and new technologies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in maintenance planning, inspection, and evaluation of complex equipment and facilities.
- Proven experience in analyzing complex problems, evaluating alternatives, and recommending effective courses of action.
- Extensive knowledge of maintenance planning principles, methods, and best practices.
- Expert-level knowledge of maintenance management software, including Maximo, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Class 5 provincial driver's license.
