**Visionary Sales Leadership Opportunity**

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our Western Canada team and drive business growth in the utility market. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales and profitability goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and administer sales plans to ensure customer satisfaction and quota attainment.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve annual sales and gross profit targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with national, regional, and local suppliers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Coordinate order service and resolve customer complaints.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train sales staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Maintain sales staff results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field preferred.
  • 7+ years of related industry professional sales experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing staff and programs at national, district, or regional level.
  • Strong business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, initiate, and implement sales strategies to achieve forecasted goals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exercise teamwork, leadership, and flexibility.
  • Excellent time management and computer skills.

**Working Environment:**

This is an outside sales position that requires frequent travel to customer sites and warehouse facilities. The employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and may need to drive for extended periods of time with frequent stops and starts.
