Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join York University as a Library Support Professional. In this role, you will provide assistance to Circulation staff, facilitate access to library study space for Osgoode students, and perform other related duties.
About the Position:
Reporting to the Manager, Library Operations, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the library. This includes providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to Circulation staff
- Facilitate access to library study space for Osgoode students
- Perform other related duties
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Library experience preferred
- Experience working in a post-secondary education environment preferred
- Familiarity with library information systems, room reservation systems, or related online databases preferred
- Familiarity with law library resources preferred
What We Offer:
York University offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
