About the Role

The Manager, Corporate Communications will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of internal and external communications, and media relations for the Government of Nunavut. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing communications strategies to promote the corporation's brand and reputation.
  • Managing public relations activities to maintain positive relationships with the media and outside stakeholders.
  • Creating engaging content for various audiences, including press releases, public service announcements, and other related materials.
  • Providing strategic communications advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinating special events to promote the corporation's initiatives and milestones.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in public relations, communications, public/business administration, political science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct progressive experience in public relations, and/or 3 years of Supervisory/Management experience.
