Role Overview

This role requires a highly skilled Senior Advanced Practice Nurse to provide high-quality healthcare services to patients across various settings. The successful candidate will play a vital role in evaluating patient needs, diagnosing health conditions, and developing comprehensive care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough physical examinations, health assessments, and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, developing treatment plans that include medication management and lifestyle recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with healthcare teams, including physicians and specialists, to ensure cohesive patient care and follow-up.
  • Patient Education and Advocacy: Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote wellness.
  • Record-Keeping and Quality Improvement: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic health records (EHRs).
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest advancements in healthcare practices and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the organization.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Masters degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program and valid state NP license and current CPR certification.
  • Experience and Skills: Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred; specialized training in areas such as family practice, pediatrics, or geriatrics is a plus.
  • Clinical and Interpersonal Skills: Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Compassionate Care: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring confidentiality.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
