Director of Nursing and Interprofessional Practice

Job Summary
Providence Health Care is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to fill the role of Director, Nursing and Interprofessional Practice. In this position, you will provide strategic leadership and expert advice on Nursing professional practice matters, supporting the delivery of quality practice environments and achieving successful and sustainable large-scale organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize Nursing professional practice and advance quality care delivery.
- Provide leadership and expert advice on scope of practice, skill mix, and care delivery approaches through inter-professional collaborative practice.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address Nursing professional practice issues and develop solutions that promote safe, competent, and ethical care.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external partners to advance Nursing professional practice and quality care delivery.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of operational and professional clinical standards, procedures, and policies that promote effective care delivery and service quality.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require a Master's degree in Nursing, a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior management or leadership position, and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
