Job Title Overview

The Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Asset Servicing Operations Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and distributing daily reconciliations and reports, documenting procedures and process flows independently, and maintaining data consistency between back-office systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily ICI cash reconciliations for multiple entities.
  • Resolve exceptions daily, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Investigate and resolve system breaks between the ICI/Impact Sub-ledger and the ICI/Impact Management/trading module.
  • Coordinate updates and changes to the ICI/Impact RUST – Sub Ledger, including TAC creation, Depots, and account-pointer mapping.
  • Analyze and resolve breaks in internal control wash accounts.
  • Manage projects related to accounting control and ICI/Impact.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations groups to investigate and resolve issues.
  • Improve control processes to reduce Operational Risk.
  • Update procedures and training processes to support the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years of financial services experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
  • Understanding of Fixed Income products, including Financing, MBS, Fixed, and Floating Bonds.
  • Excellent communication and team player skills.
  • Detailed and results-driven approach.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
