Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor - Pizza Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at AVATARA PIZZA LTD. in an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our kitchen operations.

About the Role:
This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week with a competitive salary of $60,000 per annum (based on industry standards).
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes, inspecting kitchens and food service areas, ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
  • Order and receive delivery of ingredients, supplies and equipment
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen leadership or supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
