We are a dynamic and fast-paced sushi restaurant seeking an experienced kitchen supervisor to lead our culinary team.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThis permanent full-time position offers 30-40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to supervise a team of kitchen staff and helpers, train new employees in food preparation and handling, and maintain inventory records.
Key Responsibilities- Culinary Leadership: Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food production and excellent customer service.
- Training and Development: Train new employees on food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and order supplies as needed.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience;
