Kitchen Supervisor

The Food Village is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities- Kitchen Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers.
- Food Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor supplies, and ensure timely ordering.
- Team Leadership: Lead by example, provide guidance and support to kitchen staff, and foster a positive work environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Skill Set: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to multitask, and basic math skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands.
- Physical Demands: Standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and repetitive tasks.
- Availability: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
