About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Aviation Records Management Specialist to join our team at our Biggin Hill Service Center. As a key member of our technical records department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.



Key Responsibilities



  • Creation of Return To Service & Maintenance Statements to ensure airworthiness compliance
  • Support between CAMO/Customer and Leads, B1, B2, and C-Certs regarding paperwork queries
  • Support between C-Certs, Warranty, SMP, and Invoice analysis to ensure corrective actions are up to date for billing purposes only
  • Maintenance of Technical Records for aircraft currently in work and previously worked, ensuring all systems are up to date as work commences
  • Provision of soft and hard copies to the CAMO / customer within 30 days of Return to Service
  • Support CAMO / customer with maintenance tracking services
  • Ensuring all information is up to date so the client can always be aware of the status and in line with EASA regulations
  • Clerical and administrative support to members of management at least 50% of the time
  • Logistics planning and coordination for on-site/off-site special events such as AOGs or Line Maintenance Projects
  • Internal procedural audits, including regularity and procedural training courses to support Quality Operations
  • Discrepancy reporting and correction planning for relevant information registered on the aircraft service order
  • Maintenance record completion as requested by the CAMO/Customer for Certifying staff approval before the aircraft is returned to service
  • Interpretation and processing of relevant (foreign and domestic) regulatory documents, actions, and requirements
  • Department-wide mass communication preparation and initiation for review by management prior to distribution


Requirements



  • Experience supporting members of management preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of operational processes and workflow for assigned area (Project Management timelines)
  • Knowledge of various files and filing system(s)
  • Good knowledge of computer applications, such as Word, Excel
  • Understanding of EASA regulations or Aviation industry
  • Able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively with Bombardier Aerospace Corporate offices, departments, and associated vendors
  • Able to provide direction to other employees as applicable
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with customers and staff
  • Understanding of complexity of client relationships and status of accounts for upper management


Estimated Salary Range:


£45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
