Job OverviewThis role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Division of Cardiology to provide exceptional care to children with cardiovascular conditions. The successful candidate will have a subspecialty interest in Electrophysiology and report to the Division Head, Cardiology.
Key Responsibilities- Providing expert medical care to patients with paediatric electrophysiology needs
- Participating in clinical research activities to improve child health outcomes
- Teaching and mentoring medical students and residents in paediatric cardiology
To be considered for this position, candidates must:
- Hold an MD or equivalent qualification
- Be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or have comparable qualifications
- Have completed subspecialty training in paediatric electrophysiology
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of approximately $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, they will be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, and pension plan.
