Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at the University Health Network. As a Cardiology Technologist, you will be responsible for managing patient identification, preparation, and safety to ensure accuracy prior to examination, and maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all cardiac testing procedures, including recording ECGs, stress testing, gas analysis, and ambulatory BP monitoring in alignment with CSCT standards.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians to provide patient intake medical assessments.
  • Collect and document patient information in the electronic patient record (Epic) efficiently and accurately.
  • Analyze tests to create summarized preliminary reports for physicians.
  • Confirm all quality control assessments as required.
  • Ensure emergency equipment is ready for use at all times.

Requirements

  • 2 years of related experience preferred.
  • Graduate of a Cardiology program recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).
  • Certification with CSCT preferred.
  • Current BCLS certificate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
