Job Description:
As a Cardiology Technologist at the University Health Network, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our cardiac rehabilitation program.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cardiac testing procedures such as ECGs, stress testing, and gas analysis
- Work collaboratively with physicians to provide patient intake medical assessments
- Collect and document patient information in our electronic patient record system (Epic)
- Analyze test results to create summarized preliminary reports for physicians
- Ensure emergency equipment is ready for use at all times
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Support learners in the clinical environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of related experience preferred
- Graduate of a Cardiology program recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT)
- Certification with CSCT preferred
- Current BCLS certificate
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
