Job Description:


As a Cardiology Technologist at the University Health Network, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our cardiac rehabilitation program.


Responsibilities:



  • Conduct cardiac testing procedures such as ECGs, stress testing, and gas analysis
  • Work collaboratively with physicians to provide patient intake medical assessments
  • Collect and document patient information in our electronic patient record system (Epic)
  • Analyze test results to create summarized preliminary reports for physicians
  • Ensure emergency equipment is ready for use at all times
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Support learners in the clinical environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • 2 years of related experience preferred
  • Graduate of a Cardiology program recognized by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT)
  • Certification with CSCT preferred
  • Current BCLS certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
