Our Family Office Team

We're rapidly growing our Family Office practice, and we're seeking a Senior Manager to support our evolving practice and drive engagements in our Regions West Tax practice. This role is instrumental in helping us grow and strategically evolve our Family Office practice in the region and nationally.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Tax Strategy pillar leader in driving and delivering successful client engagements, ensuring clients' compliance in personal and corporate matters.
  2. Evaluate, assess, and anticipate clients' and their families' needs and interests, recommending potential solutions and value-add services.
  3. Stay up-to-date on proposed and existing accounting and reporting regulations, and their implications for clients.
  4. Foster strategic and positive relationships with professionals, organizations, and third-party vendors supporting the service pillar and client needs.
  5. Collaborate with KPMG Tax, Audit, Legal, and advisory teams to ensure a consistent, reliable, and integrated approach for clients.
  6. Learn and become proficient in various technologies to support client needs.
  7. Support practice leaders and senior managers in business development strategies, go-to-market approach, and client/family relationship models.
  8. Actively contribute to and support the proposal and pursuits process.
  9. Represent KPMG Family Office as a brand ambassador, maintaining a strong presence in the market and enhancing the KPMG brand recognition and reputation.
Requirements
  1. A strategic mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for client service excellence and working with successful business families/entrepreneurs and high-net-worth families.
  2. Market/client focus:
    1. Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and/or family businesses, with a strong understanding of their needs and the issues they face.
    2. Understanding of family office, corporate, and personal finance, due diligence, and compliance.
    3. Highly analytical and proficient in accounting and reporting technologies, systems, and software.
    4. Outstanding attention to detail and ability to anticipate risks.
    5. Robust ability to manage multiple demands, priorities, and projects.
    6. Maintain awareness of emerging economic and market trends, competitor activity, and products/services.
    7. Natural curiosity and resourcefulness to develop and execute new ideas with pragmatism.
    8. Deep understanding of the importance of absolute discretion and confidentiality.
  3. Relationship building:
    1. Solid aptitude for building trusting relationships with broad groups of stakeholders, prospects, and clients, as well as diverse family members.
    2. Experience in business development and client-facing roles.
  4. Personal skills:
    1. Significant personal presence and excellent networking skills.
    2. Strong communication, public speaking skills, coaching/mentoring, and leadership skills.
    3. Sound financial literacy and strong business acumen is a must.
    4. A strategic thinker with client-centric approaches, as well as deep commercial awareness and a collaborative team approach.
    5. Strong work ethic; entirely trustworthy, caring, and empathic.
  5. Qualifications:
    1. Professional Accounting Designation.
    2. Completion of the In-depth Tax course.
