Job Summary



We are seeking a highly skilled Brand Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for growing department goals through the coordination and execution of marketing strategies, event partnerships, and key digital and brand marketing projects.



Key Responsibilities




  • Contribute to the planning of Digital and Corporate Marketing strategies with a focus on brand alignment and market research.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure all promotional or retail program activities are aligned to build our brand and enhance online and offline community engagement.
  • Project manage and coordinate brand deliverables that impact multiple stakeholders, aligning all Digital Marketing and Corporate Marketing to the marketing strategy.
  • Lead and grow the Ambassador Program – a diverse volunteer group and advisory group to the MarCom work of engaged community leaders that represent and activate the United Way brand at events and in market channels.
  • Evaluate and report on marketing projects and campaigns to understand impact and make data-driven decisions in future work.
  • Deepen brand awareness and positioning, along with market share in the community for United Way of Calgary and Area.


Requirements



To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in marketing with direct experience in brand marketing and advertising (ie. sponsorship, activation, or partnerships).
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in marketing, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of activating marketing channels and how to integrate them for maximum impact.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Skilled in time management, with ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SharePoint and MS Teams a plus.


What We Offer



We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including an estimated salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a hybrid work environment, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
