This role encompasses all aspects of Marketing, including coordination, trade, and creative marketing roles, as well as analytics for sales. The Marketing and Analytics Specialist will support the Sales team and supplier partners in the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives to drive increased awareness and sales.

The role includes leading the coordination of complete marketing programs in collaboration with events, product marketing, creative, editorial, and digital marketing teams, as well as insights for selling, and with the wider business and sales teams in the region.

  1. Program Execution: Execute the completion of marketing program applications, i.e., shelf talkers & neck-tags, image programs, value-adds, thematic, in-store tastings, special events, and bottle images for liquor board websites.
  2. Brand Events: Develop, lead, and execute brand events in line with the brand strategy, working closely with supplier partners to coordinate POSM, printing, and distribution for promotional, sales, and event materials.
  3. Trade Show Coordination: Coordinate and manage the logistics of trade shows, sampling, and market visits.
  4. Activation Management: Help manage and update all activation and retail programming calendars and budget requests.
  5. Brand Planning: In collaboration with Provincial Managers and Brand Owners, develop long-term and annual brand plans and initiatives that increase baselines and maximize in-store activation, enhance with ATL when relevant.
  6. Sales Presentations: Present and sell-in strategic marketing plans that will facilitate brand/product growth.
  7. Performance Analysis: Analyze program effectiveness, provide insights for selling, targeted opportunities for the field sales team, trends, and analysis on the business, participate in monthly business reviews.
  8. Market Trend Review: Review market trends, competitive activity, and brand performance. Use market analysis to create cohesive brand strategies, evaluate existing activity, and propose improvements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an FMCG environment within a marketing or sales function.
  • University or College degree in Marketing, or equivalent discipline. Knowledge of the marketing of wine and spirits or of an important consumer brand is a plus.
  • Spanish is an asset.

About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
