Production Coordinator

Job Summary
The University of Waterloo is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our marketing team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of promotional campaigns across various marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Identify and mitigate risks that could lead to project delays, working closely with the Production Manager to streamline processes
- Review campaign plans and timelines, offering strategic adjustments to enhance execution based on evolving priorities and resources
- Translate strategic marketing plans into actionable production tasks, ensuring each campaign element is thoughtfully executed
- Adapt workflows to incorporate the latest marketing trends and organizational changes, striving to enhance campaign effectiveness
Requirements
- High school diploma
- College diploma in print production, business, marketing, and/or operations considered a strong asset
- Minimum of two years of experience in marketing production or a similar coordination role within a complex organizational structure
- Proven track record of managing production timelines and delivering materials on schedule
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and production processes
- Excellent organizational skills with an aptitude for multitasking and prioritization
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain strong professional relationships
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
