Production Manager

The Production Manager is a key role within the Marketing and Communications department at the University of Waterloo, responsible for overseeing the production operations and ensuring the efficient management of marketing projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the production process, including planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns
- Oversee the production team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in production operations
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Communications Manager to ensure alignment with departmental priorities and objectives
- Manage budgets and track spending to ensure financial stewardship and resource management
- Develop and implement strong, cohesive promotional strategies and marketing campaigns
- Coordinate shared promotions, sponsorship opportunities, and other special projects
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, planning, communications, or related field
- 5 years' experience in a project or program management, marketing, or production role
- Certifications in project management, such as PMP, are an asset
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies
- Solid financial acumen and experience in budget management
