Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full scope of practice as an emergency physician, delivering high-quality patient care within the zone
- Operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) for family physicians
- Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) for specialists
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Current PALS Certification
- Current ATLS Certification
- Preferred: Current ACLS Certification
