About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NSWOC Nurse to join our team in Mississauga, Halton, GTA, Central, Dufferin. As a member of our Team Made for CaringTM, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care while promoting a culture of performance recognition and appreciation.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams to establish and/or update care plans
  • Implement and evaluate client care with every encounter, providing clinical advocacy and ensuring safe, competent, evidence-based nursing care within your scope of practice
  • Adhere to provincial regulatory body standards and practice guidelines, assessing clients for appropriateness of virtual consults
Requirements
  • A certificate in wound, ostomy, and continence (NSWOC) from a recognized educational institution or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in community or clinical/hospital settings with a focus on wound care
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the CNO and Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C)
