About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to join our team at ATB Financial. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business results in your market by coaching and providing direction to a professional team of ATB Business sales team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, focusing on enhancing the team member experience and driving business growth.
  • Develop and implement sales and service strategies to improve business performance, ensuring alignment with ATB's overall business objectives.
  • Effectively manage operational, regulatory, and credit risk to ensure ATB's risk tolerance is adhered to, through coaching and guidance of the sales teams and personal oversight of credit decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior management and executives to drive business results and ensure alignment with ATB's overall strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service and experience.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a strong focus on business growth and team development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of credit risk and underwriting principles.
  • Ability to analyze complex business data and develop strategic plans to drive business results.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
