About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Metro Vancouver Management & Consulting Services. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Direct and control daily operations of the HR department
    • Direct staff and provide coaching and development opportunities
    • Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements
  • Recruitment and Talent Management
    • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
    • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish
    • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Employee Relations and Engagement
    • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
    • Establish and implement policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment
    • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform HR decisions
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
    • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • 5 years or more of experience in HR management
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-44 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Language and Work Environment

The primary language of work is English. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
