Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to oversee the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of kitchen staff and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for events and daily meals.
- Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for patients and clients.
- Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and ensure a clean kitchen and work areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field;
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Head Cook or Executive Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols;
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum;
