Job Summary

The Eldorado Tools and Manufacturing Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Payroll Technician to join our team. As a Payroll Technician, you will be responsible for preparing statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Management: Store, update and retrieve financial data related to employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
  • Benefits Administration: Complete and submit documentations for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance.
  • Employee Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile statistics and reports to support payroll and HR functions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems.
  • Compliance: Prepare T4 statements and other statements as required by law.
