Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Resource Nurse to join our team at Halton Healthcare Services. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Reports daily to the Patient Care Manager while facilitating learning and staffing needs of the nursing team
- Coordinates daily activity and assists in patient population decision making of the unit/area
- Accepts and completes special projects as assigned
- Monitors unit/area supplies in conjunction with the Patient Care Manager

Requirements:
- Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Evidence of commitment to continuing education. BScN preferred or in progress
- Current Heart & Stroke approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
- CNA CPMHN certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CRN in Mental Health
- Respond positively to stress, understand the impact of change and demonstrates an ability to manage change
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated teaching, interpersonal and public relations skills
- Proven ability to work as a team member with peers, Program Leaders, Patient Care Managers, Professional Practice Clinician, Physicians, and other multidisciplinary professionals
- Ability to co-ordinate activities within all areas of the program (e.g. researching, introducing, and implementing a new standard of care)
- Evidence of commitment to continuing education
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is approximately $86,400 - $123,000 based on a 12-hour shift schedule and overtime opportunities. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as access to professional development opportunities.
