Medical Oncology Family Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate family physician to join our team at BC Cancer – Vancouver as a General Practitioner in Oncology (GPO). The GPO will work collaboratively with the oncology teams in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment, providing inpatient care for a 13-bed unit three days per week. Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a salaried physician, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including a municipal pension plan, psychological health & safety programs, and holistic wellness resources.
Job DescriptionAs a Medical Oncology Family Physician, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality medical care to patients with cancer and their families. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, and nurses, to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Your expertise and skills will be essential in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care throughout their journey.
