About the Role

Care24 Homecare & Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with taking their medications as prescribed by their healthcare provider.
  • Household Tasks: Assist clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations such as falls, seizures, or other medical emergencies.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a healthcare aide program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home care.
  • Certifications: Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and any other relevant certifications.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
