Solar Sales Ambassador

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solar Sales Ambassador to join our team at Firefly Solar Inc. in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in promoting renewable energy options to homeowners across Western Canada.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about solar energy and has a strong background in sales or customer service. As a Solar Sales Ambassador, you will be responsible for generating and nurturing leads, developing customized proposals, and recommending solar systems that align with customers' energy needs, budget, and site characteristics. You will also educate customers on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy, conduct home assessments, and create tailored solar solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct solar consultations with potential customers,
- Prepare documentation, gather necessary client information, and schedule client meetings,
- Answer client questions, provide product details, and address inquiries to build customer interest in solar energy solutions,
- Coordinate with your Sales Team to help meet sales targets and track progress, ensuring alignment with company goals,
- Educate clients on solar technology and answer detailed questions,
- Collect necessary information for custom solar proposals,
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction,
- Proactively engage with local communities and potential clients through direct outreach to generate leads and increase awareness of our solar solutions,
- Develop a strong presence in target neighborhoods, connecting with homeowners and helping them understand the benefits of renewable energy options.

Requirements:
- Background in sales or customer service; experience in the solar industry is a plus, minimum 1 year's experience,
- Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex information,
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent follow-up skills,
- Reliable transportation for travel to client locations,
- Comfortable with technology and using CRM tools,

Salary & Job Type:
The salary for this position ranges from $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year. This is a full-time role with expected hours of 20-40 per week. Bonus pay and commission pay are also included in the compensation package.

Language & Schedule:
The working language for this position is English, with French not being required. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed. The ideal candidate should have a reliable driving license and be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
