Administrative Support Specialist

At Universal Power Solutions Inc., we are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, with experience in data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence. They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the operations team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
- Develop and maintain manual and computerized filing systems, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping.
- Prepare and edit reports, documents, and other materials as required.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to team members.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and events.
Requirements:
- 5 years or more of experience in an administrative role.
- Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong background in administration, with experience in data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Database software and accounting software experience an asset.
