Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Nova Scotia Ltd. o/a HI Dartmouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they are efficient and effective
  • Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including coordinating and planning for office services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
  • Time management and adaptability
Working Conditions
