Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Active Green and Ross. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
- Plan and control budget and expenditures to optimize resources
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
- Supervise other workers to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely meetings
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages to ensure effective communication
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions
- Answer electronic enquiries to provide timely support
- Compile data, statistics and other information to inform business decisions
- Advise senior management on administrative matters
- Respond to employee questions and complaints to ensure a positive work environment
- Oversee payroll administration to ensure timely payments
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas to ensure a positive customer experience
- Perform data entry to ensure accurate records
- Provide customer service to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain and manage digital database to ensure accurate records
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial accuracy
- Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
Requirements
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of communication
- 40 hours per week
