Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Bidding
    • Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labour and material costs.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction costs, materials, and labour requirements.
    • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other external partners.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely estimates and bids.
  • Administrative and Technical Tasks
    • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of construction software, including estimating and project management tools.
    • Perform other administrative and technical tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Diploma or degree in a related field, such as construction management, engineering, or business.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating and project coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in construction software and estimating tools.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
