Job Title: Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at GreenGold Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors' activities, planning and organizing daily operations, and preparing construction project budget estimates. This is a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including selecting trade subcontractors and preparing construction project budget estimates
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors, and plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones
  • Monitor progress, prepare reports, and develop risk management plans
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information, and develop quality control programs
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, and plan and manage budgets
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction project coordination or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Flexibility, judgement, and organized
