About the Role

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with the CEO, department Directors, and other members of the Finance Team to provide overall financial leadership to the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Fiscal Oversight
  • You will oversee all fiscal activities, including managing the finance, budget, and decision support functions.
Financial Planning and Reporting
  • You will direct financial planning, forecasting, and supervise the monthly finance activities through the Manager, Financial Planning & Accounting.
  • Additionally, you will oversee financial reporting to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
Strategic Financial Guidance
  • You will advise senior leadership on strategic and operational financial challenges.
Financial Risk Management
  • You will support the identification, monitoring, minimization, and resolution of financial risks.
Program Development and Funding
  • You will support with the financial planning of new programs or grant funding.

We offer a competitive salary of $108,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8 hour days. You will be based at our office in Kitchener, with the option for virtual/hybrid working depending on team needs.
