About This Opportunity

Mon Sheong Foundation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Administrator to lead our long term care home. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall operation and management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Leadership and Management

  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to the home's operations and staff
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Coordinating and managing the home's quality improvement initiatives and risk management
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with residents, families, and community stakeholders

Financial Management

  • Preparing and managing the home's annual operating and capital budget
  • Ensuring effective financial management and control, including internal financial controls and budget reporting

Human Resources

  • Recruiting, hiring, and training staff to ensure a skilled and dedicated workforce
  • Developing and implementing employee performance management and development programs

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master's degree in health administration, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in long term care administration, with a proven track record of leadership and management
  • Sound knowledge of long term care laws, regulations, and standards
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
